|Fortenberry||I'm looking for any info on Chad Allen Fortenberry, born 1973, died Feb 3, 2002. Per death certificate he is buried at San Lorenzo Cemetery, San Lorenzo NM. There may be other family members buried there as Grant Co lists quite a few Fortenberrys. He is a 1/2 brother to my daughter. I am working on family genealogy and just this week found this info from the funeral home in Belen. His family will not provide much info and I have spent 3 years on this. Is there a caretaker for the cemetery or an office with any records? Many cemetery offices have an information card on the burial. Thanks for any help and thanks for getting back to me. Thanks!Linda|

|Carroll/Fambro||I would like to have someone research the newspapers in Silver City for a trial in the town--probably New Mexico vs. Bill (or William) Carroll. The trial took place on June 4, 1880, and Carroll was charged in the stabbing death of Robert Fambro or Fambrought in Shakespeare on May 28, 1880. I would like to receive a copy of the actual newspaper items with the masthead and dates of the stories attached, if possible. Please contact me at the above e-mail address and let me know if fees for research and copying are payable in advance, or will you bill? Thanks so much, in advance, for any help you can provide. |O'Neal/Harper||Help needed! I am looking for a James O'Neal who died in the Silver City area about 1894. He is buried in the Redrock Cemetery along with some of the Harpers. Any history of the land or the death would be appreciated. The family says that James was very wealthy and that he was supposed to be a math genius, and that he would travel with the circus to perform math puzzles, etc. Is there any history in the area on this ancestor? My great grandmother was born in 1893, and after her father's death, her mother, Louella Harper, remarried a fellow named Carnahan. I am anxious to hear of any information you might have. Thank you!
